Riviera Maya

Riviera Maya is the name given to the set of places located in the eastern extreme of the Yucatan peninsula, specifically to the south of Cancun. An incomparable tourist destination whose main attraction is its turquoise water that caresses the white sandy beaches. It has the second largest coral barrier reef in the world and an exuberant forest surrounds beaches and towns. This area of the Mexican Caribbean, full of exotic animals, offers plenty of places to explore. A complex of underground rivers flows under the earth and surprises one with its magic cenotes (natural wells), caverns and caves, hundreds of archaeological remains of the thousand-year-old, incredible Mayan civilisation and a plentiful and the spectacular marine life provides a paradise for all those who love diving.
