SANTO DOMINGO - The capital of the Dominican Republic was the first city founded in America. Its old centre, declared World Heritage by UNESCO, just invites travellers to visit its museums, monuments, Colonial houses, etc. Its cathedral is characterised by being the first that was built in America and by its peculiar synthesis of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance styles.
Santo Domingo is a museum piece, an adventure book in full sunlight, the cultural and political centre of the country. You can see a little bit of everything. It is a mixture in which the history of the Colonisation of the continent becomes pure passion to the rhythm of Merengue.

PUNTA CANA - A paradise in the east of the Dominican Republic, famous for being home to the best beaches on the island. Those interminable kilometres of beaches are notable for their fine, white sand, their thousands of coconut palms, their coral reef that runs along the coast and their calm, crystal-clear waters, all contributing to the fact that UNESCO has recognised them as the best beaches in the world. Punta Cana is considered to be one of the most desirable destinations by tourists who wish to get away from it all in a dreamlike setting in which they can relax, practise their favourite sports, play golf, eat fresh seafood on the sea shore or simply stroll along the endless beaches at sunset.
