Ayre Gran Hotel Colón

The Ayre Gran Hotel Colón is found around the “Paseo del Arte” where many of Madrid’s most important museums, such as the Prado and the Thyssen are found, and is very near the Retiro Park, one of the most important and most visited in this city.
The hotel is perfectly connected to the IFEMA Exhibition Centre area, and also with the airport and the principal bus and train stations. It also has direct access to the main traffic routes, such as the Valencia Highway, the M-30, M-40, M-45 and M-50. Next to the hotel are the Sainz de Baranda metro station and bus stops of many urban bus lines. This allows quick access to all parts of the city, as well as to the city centre itself.
One point of interest worth mentioning is the glasswork and frescos decorating the lounges, lobbies, cafeteria and restaurants. These are the work of renowned maestro Manuel Ortega, among whose important works one must mention the glasswork of Madrid’s Almudena Cathedral.
