Popular Parties
During the summer celebrations of Minorca’s customs are held. The most popular are those of Ciutadella (the 23rd and 24th of June). The Minorcan horse is the real protagonist of the parties, which can be seen in shows and races on the island’s horse tracks. Music and traditional dance is also very important and have been preserved throughout the years.
Toro Mountain
The tallest mountain on the island (358m) is a “must-see” due to its beauty and spectacular views. At the very top of the island one will find the Toro Sanctuary.
